With over 100 years of playing experience between us, you'd expect nothing
less than an exceptional nights entertainment from the new "Obsession". I
say new as the band has been blazing a successful trail for almost 20
years, touring the UK and abroad in the process, but we are now undoubtedly
in our finest line-up ever.
Having (almost) settled down to a more local approach to the stage, you can
catch us most weekends somewhere between North Yorkshire and South Scotland,
and occasionally further afield at special request, but thankfully mostly in and
around our native North East of England.
You'll be stunned by superb lead and harmony vocals by Wilbert "The Voxster",
and Lucifer "Prince of Darkness" (also on lightning Bass guitar). Sublime,
duelling guitars sing out from Jonny "Las Vegas" and "The Voxster", rounded off by
sweet keys and drum triggers from Davey "TwinkleToes". Mix it all up through the finest
PA available, add stunning lights at the hands of Chris "Giz a Chinkies",
and a thoroughly enjoyable evening will prevail.
These days our song choices are about what we love to play, but fortunately
our impeccable taste means every song is a winner, no matter what your own
preferences.
Our show represents the finest UK rock and pop, modern and classic,
including Scissor Sisters, Sting, Brian Adams, Robbie Williams, Tina Turner, Coldplay
and Stereophonics, but there's also a healthy portion of 70's, 80's and up to
date dance tunes in there as well (....for the laydeez....!!).
