Lisa Mc Knight's "Back 2 the Future" present to audiences around the world, a musical journey through the decades of "pop" music. The show is very lively, energetic and choreographed from start to finish. The show is now into it's 10th year and is sucessful in a variety of venues across the globe!
The band members are Lisa Mc Knight, founder member and the shows producer, Jo-Anna Lodge, singer, dancer and lighting technician and Sammi J, singer, dancer and stage technician. All 3 members of the band are trained dancers, a skill required for this type of show.
Lisa Mc Knight Productions incorporates full choreography and productive services to the Entertainment Industry and works in association with Artistes UK. Lisa works with many artistes on a personal level creating and producing their shows. Lisa, Jo and Sammi J take the audience from the pure beginnings of "Pop" music in the 1950's, through each decade to the present day. It's a theatrical ride with live sounds of the hits from each decade from Artistes such as Ike and Tina Turner, Dusty Springfield ,Martha Reeves and Lulu from the 60's to Gloria Gaynor, The Trammps and Donna Summer in the 70's. The second half of the show then brings you into the 1980's with hits from The Eurythmics, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and The Communards through to the 90's and the sounds from Britney Spears, Shania Twain and more! The finale is of course the hits from the new millenium so far.
The past 12 months have been a very hectic roller-coaster ride taking the show up and down the UK in a variety of venues such as the Grosvenor Casino chain and HMP's!! The girls have thoroughly enjoyed a sucessful 2009 and would like to thank all venues involved! A big thanks to the Best Western Hotels and to the Central Pier, Blackpool for a fab Summer run!!
The coming year sees the girls performing at the usual Haven and Park Resorts Holiday Sites and they are very pleased to be continuing their sucess at Grovenor Casinos around the country!! You can catch their 2010 season at parks and venues around the country and details are updated weekly on the "Back 2 the Future , "Bsck 2 the 80's" and "Lisa Mcknight" FaceBook pages!!
Since the launch of "Back 2 the 80's" there's been some excellent feed back which has resulted in the creation of yet another show 'Footloose' starring Lisa McKnight and Jo-anna Lodge! So, with the 3 shows on the go, it never gets dull!! We are currently in the process of creating another new show....!!
Lisa McKnight has also been asked to perform a number of solo shows across the country and you can read all about that on Lisa's Face Book page.
Last but not least, many thanks to the number of people who regularly support us and have done for many years!! Lisa would like to personally thank the number of people, especially the girls, who helped out and worked hard over the past 12 months!! Thank you so much!!!
